Satisfy and Nourish:

Drinking water 30 minutes before your meal can be a swift introduction to building a new habits and it can help wake up your metabolism prior to meals. Are you interested in having a healthier relationship to food? A tip I give to clients when it comes to making new changes, start small. By drinking water 30 minutes before you have a meal, you are priming your digestive system for breaking down the food’s particles and minerals. Want to practice listening to your body? Hunger cues vs. appetite cues send our body different signals. Try this and begin practicing your mind-body connection and be on your way to feeling more satisfied.

Whole Foods, Full Belly:

When you’re grocery shopping to fill your refrigerator and cabinets you have the choice to sustain your good habits, stay consistent and remember the less processed the foods, the better. Try shopping the perimeter of the grocery store to find whole foods. You’ll save time at the store and be less tempted to grab snacks that won’t satisfy you. Interested in a grocery shopping list for healthier eats? DM me and I’ll send over a curators list for meat lovers, vegetarians, and vegans. @ariana_energy

Herbs and spices for anti-inflammation:

Always have these in the pantry. Herbs and spices like cinnamon, turmeric, fenugreek, and cumin are just a few examples that help reduce swelling and bloating, they also add delicious flavors to your meals.

My history with food allergies has been years in the making. I find these steps have helped turn my gut and mood around. Food allergy symptoms look different for everyone. Some have sniffles, bloating, headaches, skin irritation, etc. These are some ways to take control.
